Parents & Friends

Holy Trinity Parents & Friends is a parent organization that provides a great way to meet other families and get involved with many different aspects of the school community. Parents & Friends plays an important role in supporting teachers, students, and HTCS families.   Their fundraising events allow the organization to financially support the school with needs such as changing technology, continuing education seminars for teachers, and awards presented to our students.  Parents & Friends fundraising also supports special events and activities such as Family Night and Grandfriends Day.  Parents & Friends feels it is important to show the HTCS staff how much they are appreciated by hosting luncheons and staff appreciation events.
 
Parents & Friends meet the first Wednesday of every month in the HTCS library.  There is also a Parents & Friends Facebook Group to faciliate information sharing in the parent community.
 
Highlighted below some past events that have been supported by Parents & Friends.

• Grandfriends Day:  Children invite their grandfriend(s) to school to join them in a mass celebration, tour their classroom, and have a light breakfast.
• Trunk or Treat:  All students and their families are welcome to trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk.  Join in our chili contest by submitting your best chili recipe or just enjoy taste testing.  Hotdogs and hot chocolate are provided.  All families and Holy Trinity parishioners are welcome to decorate their trunk and pass out candy.
• Teachers Are Souper:  Families are encouraged to bring in soup, sandwiches, or other lunch items for the teachers during Parent/Teacher conference week.
• Santa’s Cottage:  Students shop for their families and friends with the help of parent volunteers.  Gifts are wrapped with love and sent home with the children.
• Teacher Appreciation Luncheon:  A catered lunch with sweet treats is provided for the teachers and Holy Trinity Church staff in order to thank them for all they do for our students and their families.  This is celebrated during Catholic Schools Week at the end of January.
• Family Appreciation Night:  All Holy Trinity families are invited for a free night of entertainment and dinner.  Activities include dancing, arts & crafts, photo booth, and balloon characters.  It’s a fun night had by all!
