Our Response to Intervention (R.T.I.) program is administered by Educational Specialist, Mrs. Kristin Normansell. The R.T.I. program is designed to help students who are below benchmark levels in reading and math. Mrs. Normansell is eager to help improve students' academic skills and assist them in becoming independent learners. This happens during the school day during short sessions of small group or individual attention.
STAR Testing
STAR is a benchmark and progress monitoring system based on direct, frequent and continuous student assessment. Grades Kindergarten through 8th are tested three times throughout the school year through very brief assessments of basic reading and math skills. The results are reported to students, parents, teachers and administrators via web-based data management and reporting system to determine response to instruction.
