Holy Trinity Catholic School was formed in the fall of 2003 when students from three parishes combined their educational ministries to form a new identity. St. Stephen in Caseyville, Our Lady of Assumption in Fairview Heights, and St. Albert the Great in Fairview Heights merged to become Holy Trinity. Between fall of 2004 and spring of 2007, construction was underway for a new facility for this mission. In the interim, students united under the new banner at two different campuses on the old parish school locations.
Our new facility is located on Fountains Parkway in Fairview Heights, the school and parish center were completed in time for classes to begin in the fall of 2007 with about 178 students, representing the consolidation of the former Our Lady of Assumption and St. Albert the Great Catholic schools in Fairview Heights, as well as students from the former St. Stephen School in Caseyville.
A science room, music room, computer room and library, along with primary classrooms and offices surround a peaceful central courtyard. A walkway from the school leads to the gymnasium and parish center. A large lobby, accessed through a large outdoor plaza, serves as a central gathering area for all elements of the Holy Trinity complex.

All faculty and staff have undergone all procedures as mandated by the Diocese of Belleville for Child Protection, including required fingerprint and background checks.
